Summary
NEBOSH has worked with Great Britain’s Health and Safety Regulator, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to develop a one-day health and safety qualification for senior business leaders and anyone aspiring to this role.

The NEBOSH HSE Certificate in Health and Safety Leadership Excellence is interactive and thought provoking. The course content highlights the moral, legal and business reasons for good health and safety leadership, and offers guidance on the key areas to focus on to achieve it.

This course is Internationally recognized Health & Safety Qualification, which is highly respected by industry.

Course Content
The NEBOSH HSE Certificate in Health & Safety Leadership Excellence qualification consists of one Unit which must be completed to gain the qualification. The course comprises three elements:
The foundations of health & safety leadership
Human failure and decision making
Leadership

With topics including:
Element 1 : The business benefits of health and safety leadership (including the moral, legal and business arguments), The effects of good health and safety leadership of safety culture
Element 2: Human failures, Decision making processes including mental short cuts and biases
Element 3: Leadership styles, The HSE's five leadership values, Building relationships with the workforce

Once successful, certificates will be issued by NEBOSH.

Method of study
1.E-Learning: Self study with tutor supports. 15 hours of study + exam - available worldwide
2. Live Online Training will be delivered via Zoom (per request) . Course elements will be provided on the Online Portal.

Assessment
The course is assessed by an on the day online assessment which includes a leadership intervention that the Learner is planning to undertake.
